This signet-style ring is one of two rings that Da'oud has created that can feature two different metals. The medium Celtic cross is cast separately and soldered to the band.

It is a cross with a circle, representing union and wholeness. The pre-Christian version, designed by ancient Celts, represented the sun with a circle around four rays of equal length. Christian missionaries extended the central bar, making it look more like the Christian cross. Ancient legend has it that St. Patrick, himself, introduced the Celtic cross to Ireland. The Celtic art revival of the 19th century, spearheaded by the Art Nouveau Movement, made the Celtic cross a symbol of Celtic crosses around the world. It is a coming together of cultures, religions, and world views. This crossroad can be used as a compass, offering us a level of spiritual navigation through all of life’s obstacles.
